Biography 1.5.1972, Kristijan Vasiljevic was born in Basel, Switzerland. He acquired the name Vasiljevic from his Serbian father. At an early age, music caught Vasi's interest and he began to work as a DJ and producer in all directions. He initially gained recognition as DJ Radikkal and co-founder of the first famous Swiss Rap Formation P27 in 1990. The following years he joined Jazz and Avantgarde "Live Projects" with musicians like Ruth Glatt, vocal phenomenon composer, producer and inventor of A-MUSIK, Peter Scherer, a New York based filmmusic composer, Mani Neumeier (GuruGuru ), free psychedelic drummer-percussionist or Andy Scherrer from the Vienna Art Orchestra. Since the foundation of his own label Milieu Records in 2001, he mainly acts as a producer and multimedia artist under the original pseudonym Vasi. Techniques With a arsenal of different records and one turntable, he started in 1988 to record tapes via a Fostex "Multitrack-Tape". It was a hard manual work, but that determining factor delivered a important experience, working more precisely. A AKAI S900 reached his studio later in 1996 and the use of a Mac was just a question of time. Multimedia Then came the visual approach, so a self-study was necessary ( 3d, design, physics, animation and compositing ) to broaden one's mind. Capture impressions and reflect yourself in a personal way. The link between ears and eyes, known and unknown gives you so much more. Now the technical doors are open and ambition, has always been a companion. Discography
